[Time Lapse Shot]

You can preset data such as recording start time and time lapse to take still

pictures automatically. This setting is convenient for taking pictures at constant

intervals for landscape scenes, observation of the gradual changes in animals/

plants, and other applications.

Settings

[Shooting Interval]:

Set the time lapse. (Up to 30

minutes in 1-minute intervals)

•There are cases where

intervals of 5 minutes or

more are required for some

shutter speeds.

[Start Time]:

Set the time to start recording. You can set the time in advance

to start recording after a waiting period of up to 12 hours.

[Alert]:

: The camera notifies you of the start of recording by emitting

a warning beep sound and flashing the AF Assist Lamp.

: The camera starts recording without notifying you of the

start of recording.

[Image Count]:

10 pictures, 20 pictures, 30 pictures, 40 pictures, 50 pictures

and 60 pictures

About interval recording

When the shutter button is pressed fully, interval recording will start and the camera

automatically takes pictures.

•During recording standby, the camera turns off automatically when no operation is

performed for a preset interval. At the time to start recording or after the interval of

recording time, the camera turns on automatically and the lens moves to the zoom

position (focal length) to take a picture. (Do not attach the lens cap during recording

standby.)

•When the camera ON/OFF switch is set to [OFF], interval recording will end. To

continue interval recording, leave the camera ON/OFF switch to [ON].
