With a PC
If you connect this unit to a PC while this unit is turned off, charging of this unit starts. (
If you connect this unit to a PC while this unit is turned on, this unit is recognized as a card reader,
so you can access the microSD card in this unit from the PC.
≥ You can use HD Writer WE 1.0 when using with Windows. (
Use iMovie’11 when using with Mac. (For details about iMovie’11, please contact Apple Inc.)
∫ To connect this unit to a PC
Refer to “Charging the battery” (
) for how to connect this unit to a PC.
≥ Turn on this unit before connecting.
≥ When the power lamp and access lamp lights up, the connection is complete.
≥ When using HD Writer WE 1.0, connect after installing the software.
≥ If the supplied CD-ROM is in the PC, connect after removing it.
Operating environment
When using this unit as a card reader, the following PC environment is required.
≥ Even if the system requirements mentioned in this owner’s manual are fulfilled, some PCs cannot
be used.
≥ The USB equipment operates with the driver installed as standard in the OS.
