MANUAL ORGANIZATION
This Manual is intended to provide the user or technician with a complete
overview, operation instruction and technical description of the
DMXPathfinder lighting control data distribution system as manufactured
and supplied by Gray Interfaces.
The Manual describes the two main sub-parts of the data distribution
system, namely the hardware and software portions.
The first section covers the theory behind data communications systems in
entertainment lighting applications, and describes the typical methods for
routing data signals in the theatre or studio. A basic problem-solving guide
is included.
The second section covers the equipment's maintenance requirements and
advanced troubleshooting techniques.
The third section is intended for use in situations where faulty hardware is
suspected, and board or component level testing and repair needs to be
done.
Section four is a comprehensive user guide, complete with tutorial, for the
software portion of the installation.
