Digital Probe Thermometer
-50 °C to +150 °C
Note: To avoid battery drain, the device will switch itself off after approximately 5 minutes.
• To change the displayed unit, press the Unit Change Button (4)
Note: This device can display readings in either °C or °F.
• To hold the value currently being displayed, press the Hold Button (1). The display will freeze, the
word ‘HOLD’ will be displayed and it will continue to hold that value for approximately 3 minutes
• Whilst the thermometer is in use, pressing the Max/Min Button (3) once will display the lowest
recorded temperature. Pressing the button again will display the maximum recorded temperature
whilst the thermometer has been on
• The thermometer can be used to measure the ambient temperature with the Probe Cover (6)
attached. It can also be used to take internal measurements, by removing the probe cover and
inserting the Probe (7) into an object
WARNING: The probe features a pointy metal tip. Handle with care to avoid puncture wounds and
other kinds of injury.
Maintenance
• Wipe the probe clean with a damp cloth after each use and dry thoroughly
Note: Dirt and debris could affect the accuracy of temperature readings and lead to cross
contamination of materials
• Clean the plastic housing and display with a soft dry cloth only
Storage
• Allow the Probe (7) to cool completely after use with hot materials
• Cover the probe with the Probe Cover (6) for storage
• Store carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children
• Remove the battery if the thermometer is stored for an extended period of time
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of batteries and electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), with household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of
batteries and electrical equipment

• Pour laisser l’unité actuellement affichée, appuyez sur le bouton de maintien (1). Le mot ‘HOLD’
s’affichera et la lecture de la donnée sera visible pendant environ 3 minutes.
• Pendant l’utilisation du thermomètre, le fait d’appuyer sur le bouton max/min (3) affiche la
température la plus basse enregistrée. En appuyant à nouveau sur ce bouton, la température
maximale enregistrée s’affichera
• Ce thermomètre peut être utilisé pour mesurer la température ambiante. Pour cela il suffit laisser
le cache de la sonde (6). Vous pouvez aussi mesurer la température interne des objets en
enlevant le cache de la sonde et en insérant celle-ci (7) dans l’objet.
Attention : La sonde en métal du thermomètre est pointue et coupante. Manipulez avec précautions
afin de ne pas vous blesser.
Entretien
• Nettoyez la sonde avec un chiffon humide après chaque utilisation et bien la séchez.
Remarque : La saleté et les résidus peuvent affecter la précision de lecture de la température et
engendrer une contamination croisée des matériaux.
• Nettoyez le boitier plastique et l’écran d’affichage avec uniquement un chiffon doux et sec.
Rangement
• Si la sonde est chaude, laissez la refroidir
• Mettez toujours le cache sur la sonde avant de la ranger
• Ranger cet appareil dans un endroit sûr, sec et hors portée des enfants
• Retirez la pile si le thermomètre va être rangé pour une longue période.
Recyclage
Lorsque l’appareil n’est plus en état de fonctionner et qu’il n’est pas réparable, recyclez l’appareil en
accordance avec les régulations nationales.
• Ne jetez pas les outils électriques et autres équipements électriques ou électroniques(DEEE) avec
les ordures ménagères
• Contactez les autorités locales compétentes en matière de gestion des déchets pour vous informer
de la procédure à suivre pour recycler les outils électriques

• This thermometer features a metal probe with a sharp, pointed tip. Handle with care to avoid
puncture wounds and other kinds of injury
• Never carry the device with the Probe (7) exposed and without the Probe Cover (6) in place
• Keep out of the reach of children
• The metal probe can become extremely hot when used on hot objects and substances. DO NOT
touch and DO NOT bring into contact with combustible materials whilst hot
• This device has not been hygienically rated for use with foodstuffs. Do not use as a kitchen
thermometer
Before Use
Inserting the battery
• Remove the battery cover on the back by rotating it a quarter of a turn anti-clockwise
• Insert the battery into the thermometer with the blank unlabelled (minus) side facing inside and
the side labelled ‘+’ visible on the outside
• Replace the cap by lining it up and rotating a quarter of a turn clockwise
Operation
• Press the On/Off Button (2) to switch the thermometer on
• To switch the thermometer off, press the on/off button again

pas comme thermomètre de cuisine.
Avant utilisation
Insérer la pile
• Enlevez le couvercle de la pile à l’arrière en lui faisant faire un quart de tour dans le sens
antihoraire
• Insérez la pile dans le thermomètre de sorte que le signe + soit vers l’extérieure.
• Remettez alors le couvercle en place en le mettant en face de l’ouverture et en lui faisant faire un
quart de tour dans le sens horaire
Instructions d’utilisation
• Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (2) pour mettre l’appareil en marche.
• Pour arrêter le thermomètre, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton marche/arrêt.
Remarque : pour éviter que la pile s’use, l’appareil s’arrêtera automatiquement après environ 5
minutes.
• Pour changer l’unité d’affichage, appuyez sur le bouton de changement d’unité (4).
