1. General information
1.1 Intended use
For the simple configuration of models T12 and T24 temperature
transmitters, or models TR21, TR30, TR31, TR33 and TR34 resistance
thermometers.
The model PU-448 programming unit has been designed and built
solely for the intended use described here and may only be used
accordingly.
1.2 Description
This programming unit has been designed for general use in the
production facilities of electronic temperature probe and sensor
manufacturers. This adapter and the corresponding software
(WIKA_TT, WIKA_T12, WIKAsoft-TT) can be used for very easy and
quick configuration of the temperature transmitters T24 and T12 and
the resistance thermometers of the TR21, TR30, TR31, TR33 and
TR34 series.
The programming unit provides a detailed status/diagnostic display
and checks, for each contact, the connection between PC and
programming unit as well as the connection between the programming
unit and the transmitter.
Coloured LED's indicate to the operator the current status of the
connection. This ensures that faulty connections are reported
immediately. Through the colour display, errors are very easily
pinpointed.
The programming unit needs no additional voltage supply. The
required voltage is taken entirely from the USB interface.
Thus, together with the WIKA_TT, WIKA_T12 or WIKAsoft-TT
configuration software, a very useful tool has been created that can
be used for very easy configuration of temperature transmitters or
resistance thermometers.
