Digital Zoom
Turn digital zoom on or off.

On, Off

LCD Brightness
Choose LCD brightness.

High Power

LCD Dimmer
Choose inactivity time until LCD dims.

30, 20, 10 seconds or Off (no dimming)

Auto Power Off
Choose inactivity time until camera turns
off.

10, 5, 3, 1 minutes

Date & Time

Set date and time.

Video Out
Choose the regional setting that lets you
connect the camera to a television or other
external device.

NTSC—used in North America and Japan; most
common format.
PAL—used in Europe and China.

Red Eye Preflash
Choose whether a preflash fires when the
flash is in Red Eye mode.

On—red eye flash fires before the picture is taken.
Off—red eye flash does not fire.

NOTE: The camera automatically corrects red eye, even

if the Red Eye is set to Off.

Language

Choose your language.

Image Storage
Choose a storage location for
pictures/videos.

Auto—the camera uses the card if one is in the
camera. If not, the camera uses internal memory.
Internal Memory—the camera always uses
internal memory, even if a card is installed.

Set Tag
Create and assign tags to pictures/videos.
You can apply different Set Tag choices to
videos and to pictures.

Clear All—selected tag settings are cancelled.
Add Tag—create a tag.
Delete Tag—delete a tag.
