Preferences Settings

The Preferences window allows you to change serial port and speed settings.

If your computer does not recognize that the camera is attached and turned on,
you may need to adjust the serial port and speed setting.

To change serial port or speed setting:

If the software does not recognize the camera, continue to adjust the serial
port speed on the appropriate COM port until it is recognized. Once your
computer can communicate with your camera, gradually increase speed to
optimize transfer picture time.

To exit: click on the OK button. To exit the window without making any changes,
click the CANCEL button.

Click on the PREFERENCES button.

The Preferences window appears.

If necessary, click on the arrows and
adjust the:

serial port, if your computer does
not recognize the camera

port speed, to optimize picture
transfer time

Click on the OK button.

To reset the values to the default
settings click the RESET button.
