Specify a relay distribution station for transmission (Relay In-
struction transmission)

The relay instruction transmission is a function that sends an original to a relay distribution station once, and
broadcasts it from the relay distribution station to destinations. When there are multiple jobs to broadcast a
document to distant destinations, group relay distribution stations and relay distribution destinations for each
region, enabling a reduction of the entire communication charge

Tips

-

The relay instruction transmission function supports F-code communication.

For a relay distribution station, specify a model compatible with the relay broadcasting. This machine
can be specified as a relay distribution station.

The relay instruction transmission cannot be used together with the confidential transmission.

To specify the relay instruction transmission , you must register a Relay User Box ID in a relay distribu-
tion station in advance. For details, refer to page 7-17.

Load the original.

Use +, to select [RELAY INITIATE], and press the OK key.

Specify a relay distribution station, and press the OK key.

Enter a Relay User Box ID using the Keypad, and press the OK key.

% Enter a Relay User Box ID registered in a relay distribution station with up to 20 digits.

% The characters available for a Relay User Box ID are only 0 to 9, *, and #.

% To correct a numeric value, press the Clear/Stop key.
