8.2 Write and send a text message
In the Messages menu:
• Touch Write message, then touch Text
message. A new page appears with a flashing
cursor in the TO number bar above a keyboard.
Touch (123 icon) to change the keyboard to
digits and input the full telephone number for to
where you want the message sent. You can also
touch the TO icon to add contacts from
the Phonebook.
• To start writing your message, touch the page
below the number bar to show the keyboard,
and with the cursor flashing at the start of the
message page. Write your SMS.
• When you have finished your message, touch
Options then Send to send the message , or
close the keyboard then touch the Send icon
to send it.
Note:
Sent messages are saved in the Sent messages
folder, provided Save sent message is On
in Messages > Message settings > Text
message>Save sent message.
If the message cannot be sent, it will be saved in
the Outbox and you may have to open the Outbox
and try to resend it later.
