10 SOS BUTTON
With the phone in idle mode, press and hold the
SOS button for 3 seconds to start the emergency
call operation.
An alarmtone will sound for about 10 seconds when
activated before the emergency call procedure
starts.
Press Abort to stop the alarm and the emergency
call.
If the emergency call is not cancelled, a perset SMS
message is sent to each programmed SOS number.
Then the phone will make a call to the first
programmed emergency number Number 1. If
Number 1 is busy or out of area or not answered
within 30 seconds, it will try Number 2 then the
next programmed number. If the call is answered,
the phone will be set in the speakerphone
(handsfree) mode and the called person must
press “0” on this phone to stop the SOS cycle from
continuing.
Note:
If within 30 sec after answering the call the
receiver not dial “0” on this phone the line will be
disconnected and SOS cycle with continue.
Note: You can use the emergency SOS button even
if the keypad lock is activated, but the screen must
be on before pressing and holding the SOS button.
