Before you begin, remove
the following:
• Main battery
• I/O door
• Top case
• Modem card (if present)
• Daughterboard
Caution:
The PowerBook
160/165/180 contains
CMOS devices that are very
susceptible to ESD damage.

in Bulletins/Safety.
