Menu Setting Method

Press the `/ OK or 9 button.
[
File Divide] will
appear on the display.

Press the 2 or 3 button to select [ File
Divide].

Press the `/ OK or 9 button.
• [
Dividing!] will be displayed and file splitting
will start. Splitting is completed when [
File
divide completed] is displayed.

Press the MENU button to close the
menu screen.
Notes
• The file split cannot be done when the file list
is displayed.
• The recorder cannot split files when the number
of files in the folder exceeds 199.
• Locked files (☞ P.41, P.47) cannot be split.
• After a file has been split, the original file will
be renamed [
File name_1.WAV] and the new
file will be named [
File name_2.WAV].
• After a file has been split, the resulting files
retain the same creation date and modification
date as the original file.
• If a file has an extremely short recording time,
it may not be split even if it is a PCM file.
• Do not remove the batteries during splitting file.
This may damage the data.
