5. Using as TTL (auto-modulating) flash

When using the flash with a camera equipped with a wireless RC flash

function, it can be used as the TTL (auto-modulating) flash. The light

quantity of this flash can be controlled automatically by the setting of the

flash mode, correction of the light emission amount and so forth on the

camera. For information about the setting of the camera, refer to the

camera’s instruction manual.

Turning on the electronic flash

Turn the mode dial to set one of the RC A or RC B.

The flash turns on.

To turn off, turn the mode dial to set the OFF position.

The Ready/TTL lamp turns red when the charging is completed and the

flash emission is possible.

CAUTION

• If it takes 30 seconds or more to reach the state that the flash emission is

possible after the power is turned on or the Ready/TTL lamp goes off,

replace batteries with new ones.

• The electronic flash automatically turns off when no operations are

performed for 30 minutes. Turn it on again.
