Important Safety Information
Additional supplement
❒ The operating temperature range of the
battery is from 0 °C to +55 °C.
❒ The charging temperature range of the
battery is from –20 °C to +60 °C.
Charging cannot be done when the
temperature is outside of the charging
temperature range.
❒ The battery lifetime is limited. Charged
battery duration will decrease with
repetitive charging. If the battery duration is
extremely short, it may be near the end of
battery life span. Consult your dealer or the
nearest authorized Pioneer Service Station
and replace it with a new battery pack.
❒ If you see the following indications, a
replacement battery may be needed.
Please contact the nearest authorised
Pioneer Service Station.
– When you use the detachable device
removed from the head unit, the battery
runs out more rapidly than before.
– The message “Preparing to start up
system...please wait” is frequently
displayed after start-up.

Speed limit indication
The speed limit is based on the map
database. The speed limit in the database
may not match the actual speed limit of the
current road. This is not a definite value. Be
sure to drive according to the actual speed
limit.
