AUTOMATIC THREAD CUTTING

1. Select a stitch.

2. Turn on automatic thread cutting by pressing

so that it appears as

Note

Automatic reverse/reinforcement stitching
must also be used when automatic thread
cutting is turned on.

3. Press the start/stop button.

Reverse/reinforcement stitches are sewn,
and then sewing starts.

Note
If the start/stop button had been pressed to pause
sewing, the beginning reverse/reinforcement
stitches are not sewn.

4. When the end of the stitching is reached,

press the reverse/reinforcement stitch button
to sew reverse/reinforcement stitches, stop
sewing, and cut the threads.

Reverse/reinforcement stitches are sewn,
sewing stops, and then the threads are cut
automatically.

Before sewing, turn on automatic thread cutting to cut the threads automatically at the end of sewing. This
function is convenient when sewing buttonholes and bar tacks.
