Warranty Limitations

Toshiba warrants any Toshiba product first sold to an end-user to be free
from defects in components and workmanship under normal use for the
duration of the warranty period.

The warranty does not extend to:

Any product that has been damaged or rendered defective as a result of
use of the product other than for its normal intended use, failure to use
the product in accordance with the User’s Manual or other misuse,
abuse, viruses or negligence to the product.

Improper transportation or packing when returning the product to
Toshiba or a Toshiba Authorised Service Provider.

Fair wear and tear of consumable parts, i.e., parts that require periodic
replacement during the normal course of the product usage, including
without limitations, product batteries, AC Adapters or appearance parts.
The warranty of batteries is limited to twelve (12) months due to the
nature of the item, regardless of any warranty extension or services that
might be purchased or offered on top of this Limited Warranty.

Defects caused by external force, abuse, incorrectly connected external
devices or improper installation of third party products (e.g. memory
expansion cards).

Cosmetic damages such as scratches and dents, scratched, faded or
discoloured keycaps, covers and plastics.

The warranty will be void if the failures in the product or parts result from
service, maintenance or repair activities carried out by a party other than a
Toshiba Authorised Service Provider, or in case the labels or serial
numbers of the product or parts of it have been modified or made illegible.

applicable law, Toshiba, its Authorised Resellers or Authorised Service
Providers do not issue any warranty or guarantee for your product. Toshiba

Any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are limited in duration
to the term of the express limited warranty given by Toshiba to the extent
permitted by applicable law.
