Welcome to BODUM ®
We congratulate you on your purchase of the SANTOS 3004 coffee
maker. With this machine you will be able to make aromatic coffee.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The water is heated in the jug. The steam generated forces the
water through the riser tube and into the funnel. The gentle heating
of the ground cof fee enhances the cof fee’s beneficial qualities.
The cof fee is brewed at the ideal temperature and develops its full
aroma. Once the correct brewing time has elapsed, the heating ele-
ment switches of f and the cof fee flows back into the jug – it is now
ready to ser ve.
The Santos cof fee maker 3004 allows you to prepare between
3 cups (0.375 l/12.5 oz) and 6 cups (0.75 l/25 oz) of cof fee.
The cycle time can var y according to the amount of water, the
amount of cof fee and the grind of cof fee, for 6 cups (0.75 l/25 oz)
it takes approximately 5 minutes.
After 15 minutes the machine switches of f automatically.
Intended use. The "Santos" cof fee maker is designed only for
brewing cof fee with ground cof fee beans. Coarse or finely ground
cof fee may be used. BODUM ® recommends using a grind suitable
for filter cof fee. Instant cof fee is not suitable.
Warning! Never use the unit to boil water!
Never heat up cold, brewed coffee.
The cof fee maker is intended exclusively for household use and
may therefore be operated only in the household.
