STEP 4:

when the countdown reaches zero, the

unit will flash “blow” and “0”. exhale through the
dual-flow breath chamber for five seconds while
holding it as close to your mouth as possible with-
out actually touching the product to your mouth.

ImPOrtAnt: Keep your lips and mouth open wide

while blowing, as indicated in the diagram below.

Important Breath Sampling Instructions

Be sure to exhale cOnTInuOuslY for at least FIVe Full

secOnds. You must exhale hard. Be sure to exhale as soon

as the countdown reaches zero.

STEP 5:

when finished taking a breath

sample, the BacTrack will circle the outer

lcd fields for three seconds while analyzing

the breath sample.
STEP 6:

Once the BluFire

®

sensor technol-

ogy has analyzed the breath sample, the

estimated Bac (Blood alcohol content)

value is displayed.

The test result will be displayed for 10

seconds. Then the test result will blink for

another 20 seconds before shutting off.

Error Notification

If a user does not exhale a sufficient air

sample through the dual-Flow tube, the

BacTrack will display err. Press power

twice to retest and be sure to exhale

cOnTInuOuslY for at least five seconds.

This feature helps achieve accurate results

by ensuring a deep lung air sample is taken.

Powering Off

To turn the power off at any time, press and hold the power

button for one second.
