Security Settings
Groups allow for quicker security
administration. A group is a group of users
with specific rights to specific shared folders.
A business may want to make a Manager group
and add all of its managers to the group. This
group could have access to a shared folder
that the regular employees do not have access
to. By default there is a share called hdusers.
This share cannot be deleted.
Add New Group: This begins the process of creating a new group.
Edit Group: This allows group settings to be changed. Users can be added or removed from the
group here.
Delete Group:
This button deletes a group. The users inside the group will still exist but will no
longer be members of the deleted group.
