The Radio Data System offers you more
convenience when you listen to FM radio

begun to broadcast RDS information along-

As soon as a program has been identified,
the station name including a regional identi-

for example, NDR1 NDS (regional program
in Lower Saxony, Germany).
When RDS is activated, the preset buttons
become program buttons. You now know
exactly which program you have tuned into,
making it easy to find the desired station
quickly.

Switching between the menu
levels

During radio operation, you can use TU to
switch between menu level 1 and menu lev-
el 2.
Menu level 1 contains four pages (FM1,
FM2, FM3, FMT), on which it is possible to
store up to six radio stations each.
