6 After the prebrewing cycle, coff ee begins to pour out of the dispensing
spout.
7 Coff ee brewing stops automatically when the set level is reached.
However, it is possible to stop the coff ee brewing earlier by pressing
the “
” button.

Brewing an Espresso Using Pre-Ground Coff ee
This function allows you to use pre-ground coff ee.
With the pre-ground coff ee function you can only brew one coff ee at a
time.
1 Push the lever downwards to select the “ESPRESSO” function.
2 Press the “ ” button until the display shows the icon for pre-ground
coff ee function.
3 Lift the pre-ground coff ee compartment lid and add one measuring
scoop of pre-ground coff ee to the compartment.
Use only the measuring scoop supplied with the machine. Then close
the pre-ground coff ee compartment lid.
Warning:
Add only pre-ground coff ee to the pre-ground coff ee compartment.
Other substances and objects may cause severe damage to the ma-
chine. Such damage will not be covered by warranty.
