· See ‘Making an espresso’
· Clean around the edge of the filter and wipe the brewing
head clean of coffee.
· Wipe brewing head with a damp cloth.
· Contact the nearest authorized ser vice facility.
· Contact the nearest authorized ser vice facility.
· Fill reser voir with water.
· Press firmly down on the water reser voir.
· Ensure the water control knob is in the CLOSE position.

· Empty out the filter and rinse under water to clean. Wipe the
brewing head with a cloth. Repack the filter and tamp down
coffee lightly with compactor.
· Ensure you are using an evenly ground coffee and do not
compact the grounds so firmly.
· See ‘Descaling the espresso machine’.
· Use fresh coffee and once you open the coffee be sure to
store it in an air tight container.
· Compact coffee grounds more firmly.
· Grind the coffee to a finer texture or change brands of
espresso coffee to a finer grind.
· The temperature of the espresso machine increases for
frothing milk or dispensing water. To ensure you don´t burn
your coffee flush the machine after frothing milk or dispensing
hot water. Simply press the MANUAL button and allow water to
pour out until you have steady run of water.

· Edge of filter inser t is not free of coffee

· Machine blocked by scale build up.
· Coffee is old or dr y.
· Coffee not compacted firmly enough.
· Coffee too coarse.
· Machine is too hot.
Coffee runs down the side
of the filter holder.
No coffee runs through.
Coffee filters out in drops.
Espresso does not have
any Crema.
