@ PTY (Programme Type)
In the PTY mode, the preset buttons
become programme type buttons. With
every preset you can select one pro-
gramme type, such as for example
NEWS, SPORT, POP MUSIC, EDU-
CATE, etc. With the << >> rocker
switch, it is possible to recall all of the
PTY programme types as long as the
PTY function has been activated
(“PTY” will light up in the display).
A DSC (Direct Software Control)
Use the DSC function to customise
certain programmable, basic settings
to suit your personal needs and prefer-
ences. See chapter “DSC program-
ming” for more information.
B AUD
Adjusts the treble and bass frequen-
cies.
Press AUD once and use the rocker
switch to adjust the settings.
Treble +
Treble –
Bass –
Bass +
Setting the balance (left/right) and
the fader (front/rear).
Press AUD twice:
Fader front
Fader rear
Balance left
Balance right
The settings selected will appear in the
display. The last setting will be stored
automatically.
Switching AUD off: Press the button
once again.
If no changes are made within 8 sec-
onds, the display will switch back to
the previous condition.
Extra function AUD
Loudness - When listening at a low
level, the Loudness function creates a
more natural sound by boosting
the low frequency range.
Loudness on/off: Press AUD for ap-
proximately 1 sec.
“LD” lights up in the display if the
Loudness function is switched on.

ming” for more information on how to
program the Loudness boost.
