This reciprocating saw has been designed for metal and non-metal cutting applications. Please

refer to the fig.1 to familiarize yourself with the major components of this tool before using it.

CAUTION!

Always ensure that the tool is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply before assembly.

Installing a saw blade:

1.

Open the blade clamp by rotating it in an anticlockwise direction. This will retract the pin and

allow the saw blade to be inserted.

2.

Insert the saw blade into the clamp to the deepest position and release the clamp to lock the

blade in position.

3.

Pull on the blade to ensure it’s securely fastened.

Shoe adjustment

1.

Loosen the two screws located underside the rubber grip, pull or push the shoe to a desired

position.

2.

Retighten the screws. Make sure not to overtighten them to avoid damage of threads.

Note: Do not operate the reciprocating saw if the adjustable shoe is not installed.
