Installing the Unit:

Check for and remove any debris inside the Intra-Pod and remove it before installing the unit. Debris left inside could vibrate and
compromise sound quality. Also, using Armor-All® or an equivalent can give the pod a darker black, glossy appearance now and

in the future.

If using an amp that fits the amp cavity, cut the Power, Remote, Ground and speaker wires to proper length for final install and check

that you can shift into 2

, 4

th

, and Reverse.

If you purchased the Intra-Pod with audio components included you’ll notice that a pair or right-angle RCA connectors are included.
They are used to connect to the side of the amplifier to aide in having the amplifier drop in the recessed cavity on the underside

of the pod more easily since it is a relatively tight fit for the particular included amplifier. These right angle RCA’s are only included

if you purchased the Intra-Pod with audio components included.

Pre-drill small holes in the plastic screw tabs located on either side, toward the front of the unit an through the floor of the vehicle.
Using the torx tamper-resistant bit, run the Tamper-Resistant Screws through the two plastic screw tabs and into the floor, noting that

the screws should be run through on a slight angle, far inside the tab so the tabs won’t split. With the speaker removed, pre-drill and then
run the last torx screw through the base of the unit, behind where the speaker goes, and through the floor of the vehicle.

Installing the Subwoofer and Grille:
Installing the subwoofer and grille must be done in a specific way. After hooking up the speaker wires to the subwoofer, place it in the
cavity and run the (4) shorter phillips screws in at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. Next, put the grilles’ back plate on top of the
subwoofer with the plate holes flush against the speaker and the edge facing upward. Do it so the (4) holes in the back plate line up with
the unused (4) holes on the subwoofer. Use the remaining (4) longer phillips screws to attach the back plate. Lastly, push the mesh grille
cover on over top of the back plate. The reason it is done in this order instead of putting the back plate on first and then dropping the
subwoofer inside of it is because that would put the subwoofer too close to the mesh cover and when the cone moves to play a bass
note, the subwoofer rubber surround would hit the mesh cover, ruining sound quality.
