recommend that you contact our sales department for more information. This instruction sheet is only to be used for the assembly of Advance Adapter components.
We recommend that a service manual pertaining to your vehicle be obtained for specific torque values, wiring diagrams and other related equipment. These manuals are
normally available at automotive dealerships and parts stores.

"Check fit" the torque converter adapter ring on the GM torque converter for full engagement. The flat surface of the ring must
lay flat against the bolt surfaces of the torque converter. Some older torque converters may need to be deburred on the index
hub.

Bolt the torque converter adapter ring to the torque converter with the three (3) bolts supplied. The recommended torque
specification is 35 ft./lbs.

Install the starter, making sure that the proper index is accomplished. The starter must be for a Ford small block automatic
transmission application ONLY! If a starter for a manual transmission is used, the Bendix will not achieve proper contact
on the flexplate. Ford starters from small blocks and these transmission C4, C6, AOD, AODE, 4R70W are all the same.
