In the fifties Peter Bodum, the father of today’s Bodum owner, Jørgen Bodum, developed the first
Bodum vacuum coffee maker, called the Santos. Now, half a centur y later, the new Santos is the
high-tech version of the original that created a sensation when it arrived in the fifties. Speaking of
sensations: The American Coffee Association just declared the new Santos «The Best Brewing
