6. The hydrocarbon (Group A3) refrigerants used in these freezers are flammable and therefore
appropriate attention must be paid to avoid leaks and to keep the freezer away from sparks
and flames.
Any person involved with working on or entering the refrigeration circuit should hold a current and
valid certificate from an industry-accredited assessment authority which authorizes his/her
competence to handle refrigerants (including hydrocarbons) safely in accordance with local
regulations and legislation.
