iMPOrtAnt! never place a wet Filter in the unit. Placing a wet
Filter in the unit could cause irreparable damage to the unit.
1 . With the unit still plugged into a wall outlet, lift the FILTER COMPARTMENT
DOOR and remove the FILTER .
note: the unit must remain plugged into a wall outlet to reset properly.
As a precaution, if the unit is powered on, it will power off automatically
when the filter is removed.
2 . Rinse the FILTER with warm, soapy water or place in the dishwasher .
3 . Allow the FILTER to drip dry . Ensure it is completely dry before using .
4 . Place the clean, dry FILTER in the unit . Normal operation can resume .
note: it may be necessary to clean the Filter weekly, depending on
the air quality in your environment. if your environment is filled with heavy
smoke, you should clean the Filter at least twice a week to avoid tar
build-up on the Filter.
