I hear frequent crackling sounds .
Unit will not turn on .
reSOlUtiOn
Occasional crackling is normal; however,
frequent or constant crackling may be
caused by one of the issues below:
The FILTER needs to be cleaned . Refer
to Cleaning the Filter (see page 11) .
The FILTER is not completely dry after
cleaning . Let it air dry until the crackling
stops, or use the Drying Mode function
to ensure the FILTER is completely dry
(see page 12) .
Foreign materials are caught between
the FILTER collection plates . Carefully
remove any debris . Be careful, do not
bend the collection plates .
Ensure the FILTER is properly inserted
in the compartment and that the unit is
properly plugged into a live wall outlet .
