Step 6: Turning the scanner off

NOTE:

• Do not remove the memory card or USB flash drive (if

connected) while the indicators are blinking.

• A fully charged battery can sustain up to 150 scans of 4” x 6”

size photos to the memory card. This is a factory test value for

your reference, and actual battery performance may vary.

• This scanner only supports output images in JPEG (.jpg) format,

and the date/time attribute will not be added.

• Although this scanner accepts FAT16 and FAT32 file systems, it

is recommended that you use the FAT16 file system whenever

possible, as it allows the scanner to read/write data faster.

• For more information on how this scanner names and stores the

scanned image files, see File naming and storage rules on

page 16.

• If the memory space is nearly full (below 1MB), the Status

indicator blinks (see Indicators on page 7). Delete some files or

move files elsewhere if necessary.

To turn off the scanner after all originals are

scanned, press and hold the Power button for

1 second. The Power indicator will blink and

then go off.
Now it is OK to remove the memory card or

USB device from the scanner.

NOTE

: Disconnect the scanner from the

computer when it is not in use or when

the battery is not being charged.
