startup or when RPM has dropped).

Put feed bar in STOP position.

Jumper harness plug was damaged.

Check connections to jumper harness

When the controller is started up, it will

flash an amber code to show total

hours of operation. Each long flash

equals 10 hours of operation, each

short flash equals 1 hour of operation.

No action necessary. The hours of

operation code can be interrupted

by engaging the feed roller.

Two flashes followed by a 1.5

second pause and then two

flashes followed by a long

pause

Chipper blades should be checked and

sharpened if necessary.

Check sharpness of chipper blades.

Check sharpness of chipper

blades. Reset the controller by

setting the feed bar in the STOP
position.

Without starting the

machine

, turn the key to the ON

position. With the key remaining

in the ON position, shift the feed

bar from one of the REVERSE

positions to the other REVERSE

position and back, three times

within eight seconds.

Amber

Three flashes followed by a

1.5 second pause and then

three flashes followed by a

long pause

Engine oil should be changed.

Change oil. Reset the controller by

setting the feed bar in the STOP

position. Without starting the

machine, turn the key to the ON

position and WAIT 10 SECONDS.

With the key remaining in the ON

position, shift the feed bar from one

of the REVERSE positions to the

other REVERSE position and back,

three times within eight seconds.

Amber

Two flashes followed by a 1.5

second pause and then five

flashes followed by a long

pause

Forward feed has a short or open circuit.

Check connections to the forward

coil on the feed hydraulic valve.

Replace coil if necessary.

Amber

Two flashes followed by a 1.5

second pause and then six

flashes followed by a long

pause

Reverse feed has a short or open circuit.

Check connections to the reverse

coil on the feed hydraulic valve.

Replace coil if necessary.
