2.) If this hose assembly is a replacement for a QCC-1 cylinder

connection, disconnect regulator from cylinder valve outlet

by turning the plastic coupling nut counter clockwise until it

disengages from large outside threads on cylinder valve outlet.

3.) If this hose assembly is a replacement for the old style POL

(left hand thread) cylinder connection, disconnect regulator

from cylinder valve outlet by turning POL fitting clockwise.

4.) Using the proper size wrench, disconnect both the 3/8" flare

fitting from the LP-Gas manifold or burner and the 3/8" flare

fitting on the side burner by rotating each fitting counter

clockwise.

assembly to the cylinder valve outlet. Connect the coupling

nut to the large outside threads on the cylinder valve outlet by

holding the regulator in one hand and inserting the nipple into

the cylinder valve outlet. Hand tighten the plastic coupling nut

in a clockwise rotation until the plastic coupling nut comes to a

full stop. Do not cross thread the connection.

Note: this regulator & hose assembly is equipped with a

QCC-1 appliance connection and requires a cylinder equipped

with a valve marked for use with a type 1 connection.

a gas.
