NOTICE: Length of pull and shooting technique are more important with the SpecOps Folder than
with conventional stocks. During recoil, the shotgun moves rearward over the pistol grip by slight-
ly more than one inch. Do not place any body parts close to the rear of the pistol grip. Keep face
and other body parts at least 3 inches from rear of receiver extension.

RIGHT: Must maintain at least a 3" space between body/face and receiver extension.

WRONG: If there is no space between body/face, shooter will experience contact
during recoil.

“CHEEK SLAP” - Due to the significant reduction in recoil inherent in the design of this stock, you
may notice "cheek slap" that was previously masked by recoil. To avoid discomfort, move your
head further back on the stock.

NOTE: When using BLACKHAWK! Stocks in conjunction with SureFire® and similar forends, it is
advisable to keep the weak hand back at least an inch from the lamp housing bulge. This will avoid
the possibility of recoil impact on the fore part of the weak hand when the shotgun is fired.

2. To begin installation attach the SpecOps Folder to the shotgun, align pistol grip with the rear of
the shotgun receiver. Insert ball end allen wrench into the hole located on the bottom of the
SpecOps Folder (Fig. 2 & 3) and firmly tighten the pre-installed Hex head bolt and washers. During
installation, make sure that the stock is properly aligned and square with the receiver. Be careful
not to strip or cross thread mounting bolt or receiver nut.

Note: For Winchester SpecOps Folder, there should not be a gap between stock and shotgun after
installation. Continue to tighten bolt until gap is closed.

Note: For Mossberg SpecOps Folder only, remove rubber o-ring from stock bolt. Remove o-ring by
inserting ball end allen wrench into hole located on the bottom of the SpecOps Folder. Turn
wrench counter clockwise while applying pressure to the bolt with finger. Turn wrench untill rub-
ber o-ring is removed.
