Selecting a track on the device

Selecting tracks/files using the
arrow buttons (Normal, info and
clock mode)

To move up or down to another track/
file in the current directory,

press the or button

A single press of button

6 restarts

the current track, if it previously played
for more than 3 seconds.

Selecting tracks in browse mode

Browse mode conveniently allows you
to view the tracks contained in a direc-
tory and then select a particular track.

During MP3 playback, repeatedly
press the DIS•ESC button

“MP3 BROWSE MODE” is dis-
played.

Press the or button

6 to

display all the tracks contained in
the directory one after another.

If you want to select the track
shown on the upper display line,
press the button

Selecting a directory/track with
the remote control

In MP3 mode, you can directly select
directories and tracks using the remote
control.

Note:

This function is operable only if an
external display is connected.

Track selection in the same
directory

Enter the number of the desired
track directly using the numeric
buttons 0 to 9

After entering the number, the desired
track begins to play.

Or

To move up or down to another track/

P once or

several times.

Selecting a directory

To select a directory with the remote
control,

until the selection mark is posi-
tioned on the directory symbol.

Press the ENTER button

The track list of the directory is dis-
