Install the inner collar over the saw arbor. Slide the blade over the shoulder of the bottom collar until
the blade is seated flat against the collar. Place the outer collar over the remaining portion of the
inner collar’s shoulder. Insert the Hex Bolt into the outer collar and tighten by hand, turning counter-
clockwise (left hand thread).
Slide the Makita wrench onto the flats of the outer collar. While holding the Makita wrench, place the
socket wrench over the hex nut and tighten, counter-clockwise, until secure.
Rotate the shroud cover back to the original position and re-install the shroud cover screws.
