Terms You Need to Know: Bassinet
Orbit Baby wants everyone to be safe while using our products. Proper use
of the Bassinet reduces the risk of injury to yourself, your child and others.
This instruction manual guides you in detail about proper use of the Bassinet’s
features. Please follow these instructions and the appropriate instructions for
other Orbit products that you use with the Bassinet.
Adhering to the following safe practices will also help to ensure your
child’s safety.
1. Make sure the Bassinet is properly assembled.
Adult assembly of the Bassinet is required before use.
2. Always dock safely.
• Only dock one Orbit seat at a time, and only attempt to dock approved
Orbit seats.
• Listen for an audible CLICK when docking the Bassinet, which indicates
that the Bassinet is correctly installed.
• Always check that the Bassinet is securely locked by pulling upwards
and turning. The Bassinet should not release unless you are pulling the
Release Levers.
• Always make sure that the Bassinet is locked in rear-facing position on
the Stroller before moving. The Bassinet cannot be used in the forward
facing position on the Stroller, and the side facing positions are for
stationary use only.
