cracking will result in leaks and loss of system efficiency. such dam-
age is not covered by your warranty.

Operation & Care Instructions

This vacuum is a high performance asbestos clean-up system, designed to efficiently remove asbestos
debris and dust from contaminated areas. All parts used in the manufacturing of this vacuum have passed
rigid quality control standards prior to assembly, and an "each unit" final inspection prior to packaging is
your assurance of proper assembly. This vacuum was protectively packed to prevent possible damage in
transit. Should damage occur, please notify the transporting carrier immediately for loss and/or claim.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS & OPERATIONS

INSTALLATION:

A. HEPA Filter - Carefully place the HEPA Filter into the vacuum can-

ister. Center the HEPA Filter so the rim of the canister is in con-
tact with the HEPA Filter’s gasket.

B. Cloth Bag - Place the cloth filter within the core of the HEPA fil-

ter. Seat the cloth filter’s gasket against the flange of the HEPA
filter.

C. Paper Bag - Attach the paper bag to the vacuum inlet on the

internal side of the can cap and fold the bottom of the bag length-
wise so it fits easily inside the cloth filter.

FILTER CARE & MAINTENANCE:

(Periodically inspect all filters)

A. The primary filter (paper bag) is not reusable. When the bag is

filled to the point where vacuum efficiency is reduced, it must be
replaced with a new one. Remove the paper bag, place in a spe-
cially marked plastic bag and dispose of properly. Install a new
primary filter (paper bag) as stated in “Filter Installation”. Do not
operate vacuum cleaner without the primary filter (paper bag) in
place.

B. The cloth secondary filter is placed within the core of the HEPA fil-

ter. The gasket sewn onto the cloth filter should seat against the
flange of the HEPA filter.

C. The final or H.E.P.A. filter is a sealed unit and cannot be cleaned.

Periodically make a visual inspection of this filter for excessive
amounts of debris. If the filter media appears to be clogged, has
a hole, or has changed color (should be white), indicating exces-
sive dirt build-up, replace with a new filter, making sure to install
secondary and primary filters. Place the used filters in the spe-
cially marked plastic bag, seal and dispose of properly.
