3. Reinstall plug wires.
4. Reinstall steering shaft using 11 mm bolt and lining up marks made earlier to steering
rack.
5. Reinstall dipstick tube using 15mm bolt –will require some adjustment to fit.
6. Reinstall engine cover.
7. Install front O2 sensors.
8. Seal and install catalytic converters or cat eliminators using 3” clamps
9. Seal and install lead pipes using 3” clamps.
10. Proceed with Catback Installation instructions.
11. Reconnect battery and lower vehicle.
12. Be sure to have adequate clearance around all wires, hoses and lines. If anything
is in contact with the exhaust system, it will melt. Make sure to have at least
½” of clearance and wrap any suspect areas with DEI thermal barrier wrap.
13. After double checking for clearance and making sure all lines, wires and hoses are
secured, drive the car for 10-20 miles and re-check all clamps and clearances.
