Before Getting Started
STEP 1 Remove Battery
Step 2 Remove Memory Module Compartment Cover
Before touching any electronic component of the netbook system, make
sure that you are properly grounded. Place the anti-static wrist strap on
your bare wrist (not on top of clothing) and attach the clip to a grounded or
large metal object, such as a metal chair or table. Remaining properly
grounded can prevent static electricity stored on your body or clothing from
damaging your system.
Turn off the system. Unplug all attached wires and cables, and also remove
the battery from the system.
Locate the panel used to access the memory modules and open the
cover with the included Phillips screwdriver. Refer to your user manual
for instructions to locate and open the memory compartment cover.
