Step 3 Remove Old Memory Module(s)

Step 5 Restore System Parts
Restore the memory module compartment cover and tighten the screw(s)
with the included Phillips screwdriver. Re-install your battery pack and plug
in all previously removed cables, and you are ready to go.
Release the memory module clamps and gently lift the edge of the
memory module to a 45-degree angle. Then pull the memory module out
of the slot. Place your old memory module into the black anti-static tray
that your new Wintec Value module was packaged in. Then place the
anti-static tray and memory module into the Wintec Electronics Recycling
Envelope. (refer to step 6 for Wintec’s Electronics Recycling Program).
Line-up the notch in the row of metal pins at the bottom of the memory
module. Hold the memory module at a 45-degree angle to the memory slot
and slide it into place. Press the top of the memory module until it is lying
flat against the system and gently click it into place.
