OSITION
The lift shackle is designed to be removed and repositioned at any of 5 lift points, in order to
optimize the MRTA6 lifter's hang angle for its intended use. In general, moving the lift shackle
forward (away from operator position) helps to keep the hang angle vertical while the lifter is
loaded ; however, while unloaded, the lifter tends to hang away from the operator position.
Conversely, moving the lift shackle rearward (towards operator position) helps to keep the hang
angle vertical while the lifter is unloaded ; however, while loaded, the lifter tends to hang closer
to the operator position.
OPERATION
After the Adjustable Lift Bar Extension has been installed and adjusted to optimize the hang
angle for the intended use of the MRTA6 vacuum lifter (see INSTALLATION), operate the lifter as
directed in the lifter's instruction manual.
If the adjustable extension is removed for any reason, store the adjustable extension in a clean,
dry location to protect it from environmental exposure.
MAINTENANCE
When performing inspections and tests as directed in the MRTA6 lifter's instruction manual, be
sure to include all parts of the Adjustable Lift Bar Extension whenever applicable.
