Blower Option

Objectives The purpose of this publication is to provide the steps needed to properly
install the Ai r -Over Blower option (1326A-MOD-G3, G4) on 1326AB AC
Servomotors.
Description The Ai r -Over Blower option provides ai r -over cooling for up to 30% more
torque output on 1326AB “C” series AC servomotors. Two blower kits are
available:
n The “G3” kit is designed for all “C” series motors except those with rear
mounted encoders.
n The “G4” kit is available for all “C” series motors including those with
rear mounted feedback devices (encoders, dual resolvers, etc.).
Each kit consists of an impedance protected fan (UL recognized, CSA
approved), housing, grill guard and necessary hardware.
The following table illustrates the operational improvements realized when
the kits are installed on typical motors.
