3. Disconnect the cable assembly and AC input wires from the Power Supply

Board. Remove and discard the board.

4. Position the new board (terminal block J1 to the right) on the panel. If

installing the board on a 346 to 980A drive, remove and discard the nylon
spacer from the bottom of the board. Secure the board using the hardware
previously removed.

5. Replace the cable assembly disconnected in step 3 with one of the following

supplied cables:

- 3.6 through 345A drives – short cable assembly
- 346 through 980A drives – long cable assembly

Discard the old cable and remaining supplied cable.

Important: Step 6 is required on power supplies that have 20 terminals on J1.
Proceed to step 7 if connector J1 has three positions as shown in Figure 2.

6. Locate the AC input wires on the existing connector (J1). These wires will

be labeled either PSJ1-1 through PSJ1-5 or J1-1 through J1-5.

Attach the new wire labels to the wires directly behind the existing labels.
Cut the wires from the old connector (J1), strip and attach to the new
connector (see Figure 2).

7. Attach connector to connector housing on the new power supply (if not

previously done).

8. On 3.6 through 345A drives, secure the swing-down panel in the upright

position. Check for proper drive operation.
