BT Freelance XD ~ 3rd Edition ~ 2nd August ’02 ~ 4832

To receive a call

When the phone rings the EXT icon on the display
will flash and the LED on the handset will also
flash. If you subscribe to a Caller Display service
the caller’s telephone number will also be
displayed.

Press the TALK button to answer the call.

To end a call

Press the TALK button.

The icon

and

EXT

will disappear from the

display and the In use light will stop flashing.

Note

The first digit of a telephone number you enter or receive
via Caller Display will not be shown on the display. For
example the first 0 of 020 8123 4567 will be displayed

as 20 8123 4567.

Important

Your Freelance XD 100 features Auto-Talk. This means
when you receive a call, and the handset is on the base,
you can answer it simply by lifting the handset off the base

without pressing the TALK button.
