Alternative operating systems you may use

Your QPro software will run on computers using the following operating systems:

Windows XP Pro SP3

Windows Vista
Special requirement. You must first download and install winhlp32.dll from the Microsoft web site

(For legal reasons Autocue and QTV cannot distribute this with its software.)

Windows 7
Special requirement: We strongly recommend disabling any of the Aero themes for the desktop

Mac OS
Special requirement. The software must be run using Windows XP under Bootcamp.

Note: The appropriate device drivers for the hardware security dongle are

automatically selected during installation.

Upgrading Autocue products

You will need to upgrade your Autocue products, from time to time, especially when new
features and enhancements are released for the software.

Follow the procedures outlined below and any additional steps that are contained in the
notification email or letter.

After upgrading, ensure that the version numbers of your software and firmware are compatible.

If you have any doubts, contact Autocue or QTV Technical Support for assistance.

QPro software upgrades

When upgrading QPro, your existing License.dat can still be used.

If you have purchased additional functionality, a new license.dat file will be supplied.

The QPro setup program updates the configurations in the QPro folder.

Note: The upgrade application searches for QPro at the locations assigned during

installation. If any program folders have been moved or deleted since installation
the upgrade procedure will fail.

The setup program includes a wizard that allows you to perform the upgrade steps.

If you click the Cancel button when operating the dialogue boxes during the upgrade, the
wizard terminates.

Before performing the software upgrade, make sure that you have the Winzip folder containing
