Traction Control Valve (TCV)

Bendix EC‑80 ATC controllers will activate the TCV during

differential braking ATC events. The TCV may be a

separate valve or integrated into the rear axle relay valve.

operation — have the vehicle serviced by a

qualified mechanic as soon as possible to

restore full system functionality.

Some vehicle manufacturers may illuminate

the trailer ABS indicator lamp at power‑up

regardless of whether a PLC signal is

detected from the trailer or not. Consult

the vehicle manufacturer’s documentation

for more details.
