GROUNDING

INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded.
In the event of malfunction or
breakdown, grounding will reduce
the risk of electric shock by
providing a path of least resistance
for the electric current. This
appliance is equipped with a cord
having an equipmentĆgrounding
conductor and a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.

For the State of Massachusetts

Installations:
1. Installation must be performed by

a licensed plumber or gas fitter licenĆ

sed by the state, province or region

where this appliance is being instalĆ

led.
2. Shut-off valve must be a T"

handle gas cock.
3. Flexible gas connector must not

be longer than 36 inches.
