Peristaltic pump -
insufficient or no

Contact pressure of the per-
istaltic pump is too weak.

Correctly set contact pressure.

Tubing breakage. The tub-
ing is jammed in the tube
clamp instead of the tubing
olive with the tubing.

Fasten the piece of tubing with the tubing olive
in the tube clamp.

Peristaltic pump
does not run.

Mains cable is not connec-
ted.

Connect mains cable.

The safety shield is not cor-
rectly mounted.

Remove the safety shield and mount it anew. It
must snap in audibly.

The flow is not set
correctly.

The flow is too strong or too
weak.

Loosen or tighten the fixing lever with the
clamping screw.

The liquid is not aspi-
rated, but just "bub-
bles" instead.

The inlet and outlet tubing
are switched. The outlet
tubing is submerged in the
solution to be aspirated
instead of the inlet tubing.

Switch the tubing. Inlet tubing into the solution
and outlet tubing into the waste container.

The tubing connec-
tion of the inlet and
outlet tubing drips.

The tubings are not screwed
on correctly.

Check the screw connector.

The tubing connec-
tion of the pump tub-
ing is dripping or
spraying.

Pressure is too high.

Loosen somewhat the fixing lever of the pres-
sure clip. It may also prove necessary to tie the
tubing tightly to the tubing olive with a cable
binder.

A connected instru-
ment does not run.

Mains cable is not connec-
ted.

Connect mains cable.

Remote connectors are not
correctly connected.

Check remote connectors.

The remote connectors
