(in the NEW CALIBRATION menu) to the
CALCULATE

select either 1 DEGREE THRU.0 or 1 DEGREE.

NOTE: 1 DEGREE THRU.0 calculates the best straight line fit through
the data points and intersects with the origin at 0 ppm, 0 absorbance.
This is a classical Beers Law calibration. 1 DEGREE calculates the best
straight line fit but without forcing the line through the origin. The
minimum number of standards needed for a calibration is one for 1
DEGREE THRU.0

and two for 1 DEGREE.

Press

ENTER/Q button to select the curve fit
